Got down aout 6 to meet Heather. We bimbled about trying to decide if we were going out for the waves from the end or the Inn on the Beach. The slightly steamy shorebreak and relative lack of waves at just after high tide decided us chickens ;-). IotB it was! 4.7, well powered up, a great session. Since it was flat, relatively, and the sail was about the right size, witha slightly bigger board from Sunday, it seemed like I could really see what was happening and do things. Managed a few gybes, and even one planing one when the rig flip worked out really well. I must practise that! Came in after 40m for a drink, then went back out for another 15, leaving to come home to have tea since it was gonna be 9.30 at least before that happened.... boo. Great session. Felt amazingly in control and that things could be done. Even managed to rig retrieve without arsing about with the board...
